Created by Ronke Ademiluyi( Founder), Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) is the biggest African event of its kind in Euroupe. A collaborative catwalk and exhibition, highlighting the industry’s established and emerged African designers, AFWL is at the forefront of capturing the surge of the African inspired trends in the fashion industry.The annual event aims to celebrate the work of African and African inspired designers in the UK and worldwide.The premiere of the annual Africa Fashion Week London was held on the 5th and 6th of August 2011, at the Gibson Hall in the city of London and attracted an audience of 4700 visitors. The two-day event also featured catwalks from 54 designers. This was followed by its sophomore edition in August 2012 at London Spitalfields which attracted over 20,000 visitors over two days and garnered international media coverage.After two successful years, the third edition of AFWL took place at the Old Truman Brewery in August 2013. To increase the visibility and awareness of designers by providing them with an affordable global showcasing platform, to bridge the gap between our designers and their potential clients and to generate local and international media interest for them, ensuring they are better equipped to carry their brand forward and reach their target market with ease. Grandstand Admission is the premier public enclosure at Royal Ascot and provides excellent facilities with access to the Pre-Parade Ring, Winners’ Enclosure and Parade Ring. Before the racing each day a military band will perform in the Parade Ring.
From the Grandstand Lawns racegoers will be able to watch Her Majesty The Queen arrive in her Royal Procession and the thrilling racing will begin shortly after.
