Beyoncé shocked the music world and her doting fans when she randomly released her fifth studio album, “Beyoncé,” last night. The Internet went wild, as there was no promo, marketing or any other sort of indicator that forewarned of the release. Instead of going through publicists and whatnot, Bey simply informed fans of the release herself, directing them to iTunes where they could purchase and download the album.
